Love and Logic

The Trinity County Office of Education (TCOE) offers Love and Logic parenting sessions twice a year in the spring and fall to support families in building strong, positive relationships with their children. Developed by Jim Fay and Charles Fay, this approach focuses on combining empathy with clear expectations to help children grow into responsible, confident individuals. Funded through the Adult Education grant, these classes are free and open to all community members.

Testimonials

“This class is valuable because it has taught me the value of showing empathy while letting my child make mistakes and learn from them. This class has given me tools to help me stay calm.”

“The most valuable thing that I learned was about giving children the power to choose and to deal with the consequences whether good or bad”.

“I learned that I do not need to be angry and upset with my child when they do not do what I have asked. I can deal with it later when I have calmed down.”
