The Trinity County Human Resources (HR) department goal is to provide leadership and relevant assistance to all of our Trinity County School District and County Office employees.  

Our Human Resources Department promotes organizational integrity through comprehensive and efficient administration of the county's Human Resource functions.  The key services and expertise we provide include staffing, classification and compensation, labor and employee relations, state and federal compliance, records management, employee data management, credentials monitoring, substitute services, employee benefits, employee programs, CalSTRS and CalPERS information/reporting and customer service.    

Payroll Department

The Trinity County Office of Education Payroll Department goal is to exceed expectations in providing accurate and prompt support and service to each of our school districts and all our employees in matters relating to payroll/employee compensation.  Key services provided by the payroll department include audit, payroll software support/setup and issue resolution, tax payment/returns and issue resolution, W2 audit/generation, EDD/FTB/IRS management, district payroll print/distribution, and customer service. 

Credentialing

The Trinity County Credentialing Department aims to assist educators in their journey from credential candidate to fully credentialed teacher. In compliance with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, we help prospective teachers research credential types, understand credential requirements, and find commission-approved credential programs. We also help educators renew their documents, clear preliminary credentials, and connect with commision-approved induction programs.
