This position comprises three main roles:
- Facilities Fiscal Analyst - This role finds funding for, and supports the coordination and management of, school construction projects.
- Education Data Technician - This role supports the aggregation and disaggregation of data within TCOE and for county school districts in analyzing grade scores, attendance, and other data sources to learn how systems can be adapted to best serve students. Additional data work and analysis is also included.
- Safety and Communications Specialist - The Safety and Communications Specialist is responsible for developing, evaluating, and implementing disaster response, crisis management, and communication activities for the Trinity County Office of Education (TCOE). This position is integral to ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, visitors, parents, and staff at school sites and offices within the jurisdiction of TCOE. The role encompasses vital responsibilities such as planning and enhancing communication, staff preparedness for emergencies, and the training of staff and students in responding to critical situations. It also contributes to a comprehensive understanding of school and site safety among all stakeholders.
Jeff also serves as chair of TCOE’s internal Facilities Committee and our Data Committee, in addition to serving as an Executive Committee member on the NCSIG Board of Directors, the Joint Powers Authority, for regional school liability insurance.
