    Resiliency imageHazard Mitigation Plan Project
In an effort to increase the disaster readiness and resiliency of the schools within our county, the Trinity County Office of Education (TCOE) is leading the development of a hazard mitigation plan. This document will include a risk assessment of hazards present to Trinity County schools - such as wildfire, power outages, and drought - and an action plan to reduce those risks.

The Trinity County Resource Conservation District (TCRCD) has been contracted with (via a public procurement process) to facilitate the plan development. This project is funded by a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
