LAST MONTH's NEWSLETTER

Sorry to say, but made a large boo-boo in the November issue. That letter stated that there would be a "special breakfast meeting on February 22nd at Granny's House in Weaverville" WRONG...WRONG...WRONG.. This is INCORRECT. Further word will come in January about the event. This is NOT a breakfast, and , in fact, I seem to have heard it may be an evening get-together, so more later.

We were unable to attend the Novermber meeting, sure missed being there..

HEAD COLDS! Seems that a lot of the club members got hit with head-colds, one being N6TKY, and I read in the minutes for the November meeting that KI6GR, JOhn, got hit with a cold, and maybe others. N6TKY, Jim, recovered finally, after getting the cough when the head began to clear. Somehow, I escaped it, hope that it continues to be the case.

SPARSE NEWS THIS MONTH

Thanksgiving was good for us, we were in Redding with our youngest son and family for dinner and visiting, then spent the night with number two sonand family that night. Did a little shopping on Friday- deliver us from that again. So much traffic, so many people out, one could hardly move, but we did see a lot of license plates with amateur radio call signs on them, so it was not a total waste.

VISITORS

N6TKY and I had visitors over the first week-end in November, KD6GCS, Don Lister and Dorothy were here for a few days. Don sends greetings to you club members, they miss Trinity County and the Club.

This concludes what I know (No bright remarks, folks!) So, off I go...minutes are attatched to the mailed verson.
