The next club meeting will be held on June 12th, 7:30 p.m., Trinity County Office of Education conference room. Plans for the annual picnic in July will be finalized. At this point the tentative date is set for Saturday, July 13th, at the home QTH of KD6QBS Vi and WB6JZN Ed Carpenter at 170 Five Cent Gulch in Weaverville.
Installation of officers for the coming year will take place at that event. Stay tuned!
Dinner Meeting at Big Bar Station
The May dinner meeting at the newly-opened Big Bar Station in Big Bar was a great success, good food, good eye-balling, and a good time all around, with election of the officers for next year accomplished, also.
It was great to see KB6EHA Rusty Carpenter and his family present, with QBS Vi and JZN Ed, and also KD7MAV Dan Carpenter and his wife. We are all wondering how long before the little guy belonging to Rusty and wife will be on two-meter!

The annual Endurance Trail Ride will be held at Indian Valley on June 22-23. More two-meter operators are needed out there. If you can attend, please phone KF6OAH Vicky at 623-4208 or WD6AIA Bob at 623 2367 as soon as you can, to get the hours needed, and answers to any more questions you might have.
Sorry to hear that Lois Weil, YL of WA6BXN Johnny is on the ailing list in the hospital down at Redding. I am sure she would enjoy a card from you to cheer her up - she may be home soon, but cards would still be thoughtful. (Send to P.O. Box 1265, Weaverville, CA 96093) Update- Lois is home now!
