NEXT CLUB MEETING

The next club meeting will be held on March 13th at 7:30 p.m. at the Trinity County of Education conference room. A very important item of business will be discussed and voted upon that evening. Please see the attached set of minutes (Note- No minutes files are provided for the web editiion-webmaster) and the projected club budget which contains important information regarding the need for the club to buy liability insurance.

The insurance question has been lurking in our minds for some time. It was apparent to all present at the February club meeting that we must be covered by liability insurance, in order to carry out our activities as a club. Our club board and others met on Feb. 19th to come up with a proposal to raise funds for the purpose of procuring the insurance.

We would surely appreciate it if you members out there who cannot ordinarily be present at the meeting would show up to vote on this critical issue.

NEWS OF MEMBERS

It is great to hear W6HOR Buck on the air again! Buck has been in the hospital at Stanford and undergone serious surgery. It is good to have you back here, Buck, and take care of yourself. Also, to N6NOM Jean, you are probably a well-qualified nurse by now. But, put your feet up once in a while and rest, I'm sure you need it badly.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY......to KF6TJ

Dorothy Cameron! And many more, hope you are in fine spirits and good health.

NEW MEMBER

Welcome to KE6SAL Steve Renten, who hails from Oakland and is locating in Trinity Center. Good to have you, Steve.

NEWS, NEWS??

There is not a lot of news to report. Our home QTH antennas are in a mess, hope we can get them in better shape soon, though we have been able to use the two-meter with no trouble, but the HF is down completely, and another antenna we have resembles over-sized twisted spaghetti!

It is good to hear quite a few of you on the Thurs. Night net. Keep it up!

Till next time, 73s to all.
