"WORKSHEET/OUTLINE"
THIS IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY....
Provided to help those who wish to monitor other Northern California Stations and agencies participating during ARES exercises.
Formal participation by local agencies has been declined in recent years. TCARES continues to prepare for
emergencies by upgrading our equipment, and improving individual skills/resources.
INDIVIDUAL ARES stations may pass traffic and participate on individual basis if they wish! All are welcome to participate

Every hour (1300, 1400, 1500, 1600 and 1700) a roll call will be made on
the primary frequencies. Stations with traffic indicate so and stand by
to send or receive traffic either on the primary frequency or be directed
to another frequency or mode.
-
At the "bottom" of the hour (1330, 1430, 1530 and 1630PDT) section-wide
(or beyond) traffic may be passed via CW or digital mode.
-
•CW on 7111 (up), alt. 3711 (up).
- HF and VHF DIGITAL section-wide traffic frequencies will be determined
by the digital operators...and will be announced on the SSB nets.
- VHF stations and local ARES nets operate as per their local plan(s),
keeping in mind that section traffic should be sent to a SSB relay
station by the top of each hour; and to CW or digital stations before the
bottom of each hour.
Relay stations:
- District 1 and 2 - K6SOJ (SSB and CW); N2RSN (digital HF and packet).
- District 3 and 4 - W6DHN (SSB and digital), W7IB SSB and CW)
- ARRL/OES and other ARES stations are welcome to check in/relay traffic.
- VHF stations with traffic going outside the range of a local net

that are participating.
