World War 1 Uniform
by Michael

My picture is of an Army uniform from World War I. There is also a flag in the picture that is printed on only one side.

The uniform is green and has lots of badges. The buttons on the uniform are old-fashioned. It has one leg wrap. The uniform is made of green woolen material . The person who wore the uniform, Harry Saxey, was a Sergeant in the Marines. The uniform was used in military camps. The war started August, 1914 and ended November 11,1918.

I learned that Harry Saxey was born around 1899 and died in World War I. There was no draft.
