Modern Era Project
Burnt Ranch Schools third and fourth
graders worked on a year long project with the Willow Creek-China
Flat Museum. For the first activity we took a field trip to the
museum and took digital photos of historical Native American artifacts
to study.
For the second project the students researched Gold Rush artifacts.
They again took digital photos of their project. Each student
researched the artifact using the internet, written, and oral
resources.
For the third and final projects students took digital photos
of the Modern Era period. Students researched artifacts using
the internet, written, and oral resources. They also did a webbing
of their project using Inspiration software.
