Welcome back to another exciting year at Douglas City Elementary. As usual we are off to a very busy start.
The volleyball team has started playing and are off to very good start. Mrs. Harris is coaching this year. The cheerleaders are busy practicing already, Michelle Haney is the new cheer coach this year. We all wish her good luck this year. Our after school program is running again this year, it is a very exciting program with lots of fun activities for the students to do. Back to School night was held on Sept. 13th, and was a success. The 8th graders had their 1st fund raiser that night and did very well, thanks to all the parents who came. Check to weekly newsletters to see all the exciting things happening.
